Whatever I do, the most important part for me is a feeling of a thing getting done right. Not just done a moment before it is due, but done early enough that I know for sure it’s going to be great. And when it’s done, whether it’s a project completed, a feature released, a team hired, or a strategy session which shows results, you get to go on and do the next thing. That moment before completion is when I feel real triumph inside. I’ve always been on the B2B side of things. I only can imagine that a B2C product owner feels the same way inside as a solution or an update goes live to the public. It’s always pure joy, and a moment absolutely worth working for. I see my mission in making the path to these moments as straight and short as it can be, a perfect lap.
