Meet us at TechCrunch Disrupt!
MobiDev will participate in TechCrunch Disrupt Berlin on December 4-5. This event can be a perfect starting point to employ tech innovations for your next big business endeavor. Our CEO, tech experts and managers will be glad to answer any questions about our work processes or consult you in case of need. Just let us know, and we'll align our schedules easily.
Case study: IoT product for the automotive industry
As we promised, here is a new success story for you! It tells about an automotive Internet of Things project, brought to MobiDev by a Germany-based vehicle electronics manufacturer. The software had to be developed, tested on hardware and delivered within 5 weeks from the start of development—well before the hardware would hit the market. How did we succeed at this task? Read on to find out!
New releases and updates
We have released a major update of a book reader for Android for one of our long-term clients. This application counts more than 10 million installations over its years-long existence. Now the app offers its users a brand new look and a number of introduced improvements, including personalized Push notifications, integration of Firebase Cloud Messaging, and security enhancements.
We have a new iOS application submitted for approval at the App Store. It is a part of a cloud-based retail ERP software suite. From a business idea to a released MVP and later on, our team has been rapidly evolving this product, tailoring it to the needs and processes of the companies that adopted it. The new app brings the features of this B2B system to the mobile, including POS and inventory management.
Liability insurance for the confidence of our clients
We value the trust that our clients put in us. Now we are glad to support this statement by following international insurance standards: MobiDev has adopted both Professional Liability and Commercial General Liability insurance programs – two essential layers of legal protection for our clients.
MobiDev at DeveloperWeek 2017
Now a couple of words about this Austin event, where our Web Team Leader Eugene Kuzminov held a keynote "What Is The Best Programming Language For Your Web Product?" It was followed by fruitful backstage talk and curious observations. Blockchain—the single most discussed technology at the event—was not seen as just a hot trend of some vague use. It was seen as a viable solution to a variety of well-defined business problems. Several companies approached us with their ideas, so we believe there will be more to tell you about. Meanwhile, enjoy the pictures!
A Few Words From…
Eugene Kuzminov, Web Team Leader
"Austin has a rather large community of software developers and lots of product companies. Although this DeveloperWeek was way smaller than that in San Francisco, we saw there lots of people who knew what they were looking for—whether it was a new insight or a potential software development vendor. The hottest topics at the event were Blockchain and Data Science—the areas covered by the expertise of MobiDev—which means we are on the right track."
